Why the market has been moving
Private weight loss medicine has become one of the fastest growing areas of UK out-of-pocket healthcare spending, with reporting this year describing spend in the hundreds of millions of pounds annually and take-up now covering a meaningful share of UK adults. That scale of demand has come with price movement across the market, including well-reported increases at the top end of some providers’ ranges.
