Wegovy tablet price comparison
Compare Wegovy tablet prices by dose from UK providers
See current public Wegovy pill prices from UK online pharmacies and clinics in one place. We list the standard price for each tablet strength and keep offers separate so the comparison stays clear.
The Wegovy pill launched in the UK on 6 July 2026. The 1.5mg and 4mg strengths are live now on private prescription, while 9mg and 25mg are rolling into wider availability from 20 July 2026. We show the published price for each strength, the latest check date, and GPhC details where held.
Feed refreshed 4 August 2026. Final suitability and checkout price are confirmed by the provider.

Wegovy pill prices by dose
Feed refreshed 4 August 2026. This is the feed refresh date, not a same-day check of every provider. Each provider row keeps its own last-checked date. Prices can change before checkout.
A TBA cell means the provider has not yet published a standard public price for that strength, has not opened ordering yet, or only confirms availability after the consultation stage. Wider availability for the 9mg and 25mg tablets begins from 20 July 2026, so check stock and prescriber approval before relying on a higher-dose listing.

Open the full Wegovy pill price comparisonStandard price rows are separate from bundle, subscription, introductory and discount-code prices. Use provider pages for those offer details.
Some providers are prescribing clinics that dispense through a GPhC-registered partner pharmacy, so a blank or not publicly listed GPhC field here does not by itself mean the route is unregistered.
How we are funded: some "See provider price" links are affiliate links, which means we may earn a commission if you order after clicking one. This never changes the price you pay and never affects a provider's position in the table. Rows are ordered only by the lowest standard price we currently hold.
How we check prices
Each listed price is taken from the provider's own public page and dated
- We read from the source. For each provider we open their own public Wegovy pill page and take the standard price directly from it. We do not estimate prices; if a provider does not publish a price for a dose, we show it as TBA.
- We separate standard from offers. Bundle, subscription, first-month and discount-code prices are kept out of the comparison table so you compare like with like.
- We date every check. Each row shows when we last checked that provider. The feed refresh date describes when the comparison data was rebuilt, not a same-day check of every provider. The provider's checkout price is always the final word.
- We link the pharmacy's registration. Where a provider holds a public GPhC number, we show it and link to the GPhC register so you can confirm it yourself.
- We rank by price, not by payment. Rows are ordered by the lowest standard price we hold. No provider can pay for a higher position.

Higher-dose launch check
Confirm 9mg and 25mg stock before relying on a listing
Wider UK availability for the higher-dose Wegovy tablets begins from 20 July 2026. We keep a price visible when a provider publishes it, but checkout, stock status and prescriber approval are what matter before you rely on a listing.
Before you order
What can still change between the table and checkout
- Delivery fees, consultation charges and add-ons can change the final amount you pay.
- Some providers publish a standard price but only confirm stock or dose progression after the questionnaire.
- Bundle, subscription, first-month and code offers can sit below the standard price at checkout, but they are kept out of this main table.
- If a listing looks wrong, open the provider page and let us know so we can re-check it quickly.
About this tracker What CompareWegovyPrices does
What CompareWegovyPrices does
CompareWegovyPrices is an independent UK price-tracking service focused on one thing: the Wegovy pill (oral semaglutide). We are a data and comparison team, not a pharmacy and not a prescriber. We do not sell, dispense or supply any medicine, and we do not give medical advice.
Our expertise is in checking, recording and comparing published provider prices consistently. G. Fitzsimons, Data Manager, oversees how public provider prices are logged, dated, separated from offers, and linked to GPhC details where a public number is available. Clinical suitability is always decided by the prescribing provider, never by us.
This page and its methodology were last reviewed on 4 August 2026. Price data is compiled and maintained by G. Fitzsimons, Data Manager, and refreshed through the provider recheck and feed-update workflow.
Corrections: if a price or provider detail here is wrong, tell us at hello@comparewegovyprices.co.uk and we will re-check it against the provider's own page.

The sources behind the medical and launch facts
Prices on this page come from each provider's own public pages. For launch timing, regulation and background facts about oral semaglutide, we rely on public regulatory and manufacturer sources rather than informal commentary.
- Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA) for UK medicine approvals and safety information.
- National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) for guidance on weight-management treatment in England.
- European Medicines Agency (EMA) for the Wegovy public assessment record.
- Novo Nordisk, the manufacturer of Wegovy and semaglutide.
- General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC) register to confirm a pharmacy's registration.
- MHRA Yellow Card scheme to report a suspected side effect.
- The OASIS clinical trial programme for oral semaglutide in weight management, published in peer-reviewed journals.
We link to these bodies for background only. They do not endorse this site, and nothing here is a substitute for advice from your prescriber or pharmacist.

Wegovy pill FAQs
Questions we get about the Wegovy pill
How long does the Wegovy pill take to work?
Response and side effects vary from person to person, so there is no reliable week-by-week result to promise. OASIS 4 assessed oral semaglutide over 64 weeks. Your prescribing provider can explain what progress they expect to review and when.
Can I take the Wegovy pill with food?
The published instructions describe taking the tablet on an empty stomach with a small amount of plain water, then waiting before food, other drinks or medicines. Follow the patient information supplied with your prescription and ask your pharmacist if any part of the routine is unclear.
What happens if I miss a dose?
Do not improvise or take extra tablets to make up for a missed dose. Check the patient information supplied with your prescription and contact your prescribing pharmacy if you are unsure what to do, especially after more than one missed dose.
Is the Wegovy pill available on the NHS?
Not at launch. The Wegovy pill is currently available privately only. NHS access to weight-management medicines is limited and there is no confirmed timeline for NHS access to the oral form.
Important information
Not medical advice. CompareWegovyPrices is an independent price-comparison and information service. We are not a pharmacy, we are not a prescriber, and we do not provide medical advice. Information here is for general guidance only and does not replace advice from a doctor, pharmacist or other qualified healthcare professional. Whether the Wegovy pill (oral semaglutide) is suitable for you is decided only by the prescribing provider after a clinical assessment. Never start, stop or change a prescription medicine based on this page. If you feel unwell or have concerns about a medicine, speak to your prescriber, pharmacist, or NHS 111.
How we are funded. Some outbound links are affiliate links, and we may earn a commission when you order after clicking one. This does not change the price you pay and does not influence how providers are ranked.
About the prices. Prices are read from each provider's own public pages and shown with the date we last checked them. Prices, fees, discount codes, stock and higher-dose availability can change frequently and can differ at checkout. We show unpublished prices as TBA and never estimate them. Always confirm the final price, delivery cost and availability directly with the provider before ordering.
